It's easy to get immersed in the game, but that's when accidents can happen.
Here's how we try to manage.
Avoid physical contact during play. When defending, stay one frisbee length away from opponent.
Do not simultaneously jump for a high flying frisbee.
Stretch before play.
Be aware of players in the vicinity when you huck a frisbee.
Stay hydrated and rest when you feel tired, especially during hot weather.
Be wary not to throw the frisbee in areas where there's bystanders or baseball players.
Things to keep in mind when participating in social events in general:
Avoid exchanging contact too early when meeting people. Get to know and trust them a little first. Some are only out to recruit you into other events or business schemes.
Consider avoiding accepting or exchanging contact in a group chat with a complete stranger. If you have a mutual friend, use discretion.
